The functional component of velocity is enhanced with help of speed pulleys. Low inertia pulleys (speed pulleys) allow you to change the speed of an exercise without the weights going ballistic. Increased speed acts as an increase in resistance making an exercise more difficult to do without adding any additional weight increments. Changing speed works the functional quality of coordination which is severely affected by injury. The S-series pulleys are offered with:

  • Resistance as low as 0.85 lb. per weight increment.

Frames accommodate both weight stack options.
Both options are mobile (they tilt back and roll on 3" ball bearing wheels.
The frames are TIG welded and made of durable, powder coated, high strength steel.
Frames have 2"x 2" rubber feet preventing floor damage.
Frames have a welded counter balance plate in the rear that accommodates 25 lb. Olympic weight plates (plates recommended on weight stacks over 100 lbs.).
